Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama has announced that the Danish Presidency of the European Union has invited Albania to open four chapters of accession negotiations.
Rama wrote in a Facebook post that the Green Agenda and Sustainable Connectivity, on areas of vital importance, such as Transport, Energy, Trans-European Networks and Environment, are now on the table.

On Tuesday, September 16, the Danish Presidency of the EU invites us, in the presence of the Foreign Ministers of all member states, to open four more chapters of the accession negotiations, which are added to the 24 chapters we have opened in just 11 months - an absolute record for the speed of a negotiation process.
The Green Agenda and Sustainable Connectivity, on areas of vital importance, such as Transport, Energy, Trans-European Networks and Environment, are now on the table. Another milestone was set on the path towards Albania's 2030 top spot in the EU. /Telegraph/
