Minister of Defense, Pirro Vëngu, through a post on social networks, announced that the situation as a result of the fires in the Fushë Arrëz area has improved significantly.

The Minister thanked the firefighters, but also the Armed Forces, who, with the help of 3 helicopters, made it possible to bring the flames under control.

"Another day in the fight against the flames from the air in Fushe Arrëz. Air Force helicopters and those from the United Arab Emirates dominated the skies and helped forces on the ground to bring the flames under control. The heroes of the sky significantly reduced the intensity of the fires, helping residents and nature in the area covered in green," the minister wrote. /A2 CNN
