Another 75 tons of livestock corn have been banned by the National Food Authority in Shkodra.
Just a few days ago, the AKU had blocked 25 tons of corn from the same exporting entity, bringing the total quantity currently banned to 100 tons.
The corn has been detained at the Hani i Hoti customs for the purpose of conducting laboratory tests to determine whether there is a high presence of aflatoxin B1. Until the results of the tests are available, the corn will remain blocked.
It is learned that 10 samples of other cargoes have been taken, but it will take a week for the results to be released. /Tch/
