An unidentified drone was confiscated by police units on Sunday around 19:20 in the forest of the village of Muqibabë.
According to authorities, the drone was initially spotted by residents of the area, who notified the police.
Police units arrived at the scene and seized the device.
Regarding the case, Radio Dukagjini has requested an answer from KFOR whether the confiscated drone was part of this mission's operations or whether they had prior information about its movement in the territory of Kosovo.
In an official response, KFOR announced that the investigation into the case is currently the responsibility of the Kosovo Police.
"The investigation is currently under the responsibility of the Kosovo Police. For further questions, please contact the Kosovo Police," KFOR's response states.
This mission also emphasized that close contact will continue to be maintained with the units on the ground and with the relevant authorities, in case new developments arise regarding this case.
