An old tree has fallen near the Radio Television of Kosovo (RTK) building.


The Director of Safety and Emergencies in the Municipality of Pristina, Lulzim Fushtica, said that there were no injuries to people and the material damage was minor.

He informed KosovaPress that traffic will not be allowed to circulate until the intervention is completed.



"An old tree fell an hour ago near Radio Television of Kosovo. Fortunately, no one was injured, the material damage was minor, only one car was slightly damaged. All emergency and capital city teams are at the scene, the firefighters have just finished their work, we have the green company that will remove the debris and will also remove the wood pieces, KEDS teams are also here because an electric pole was damaged and needs to be removed and replaced. We have cut off the power to part of the city due to the danger. Traffic will not be allowed to move until late at night until the intervention is carried out, the Kosovo Police is here, all teams are here and everything is in order, there is no room for panic," he declared.
