The Ministry of Interior announces that it has detained an Albanian citizen in Struga, because narcotics were found during a search of their vehicle.
"Today (08.12.2025) at 07:05, on the Struga-Qafë Than highway, near the village of Frangovë in Struga, police from the Frangovë Police Station, at the Regional Center for Border Affairs West, stopped AT (46) from Pogradec, Republic of Albania.
During a search of an "Opel Zafira" passenger vehicle with Struga license plates, which he was driving, three bags containing 62 packages of marijuana were found.
The public prosecutor was notified of the case, the drugs were confiscated and AT was detained at the police station.
"After fully documenting the case, the Struga Regional Police will file a relevant report," the announcement states. /Telegrafi/
