Amorim wants to keep the Man Utd star in the squad but admits he could leave

Ruben Amorim has given his honest opinion on the future of one of Manchester United's players after the draw against Liverpool. 

It was a dramatic game on Sunday, with second-half goals from Lisandro Martinez and Amad Diallo earning the traveling Red Devils a point. 

One of the highlights of this game was the introduction of Joshua Zirkzee, just days after he was booed by his own fans after being substituted midway through the game against Newcastle. 

In the match against Liverpool he gifted a beautiful pass to Harry Maguire with the latter failing to score the winning goal in the dying moments of the match. 

Speaking after the match, United boss Ruben Amorim was asked whether Zirkzee had made the right decision to succeed Maguire. 

"For me, I think it was the perfect decision, because he can shoot, but he put the ball in the center for a player who was running from the back. I think the ball was too slow for Harry to score, but sometimes you can't." 

Amorim was also asked about the Dutchman's future, with a report from Tuttosport earlier this week suggesting that Zirkzee is more open than ever to the possibility of a loan move to Juventus in January. 

"I want to keep Josh because he's giving everything and he's trying in training, but we don't know." 

"The transfer window is open and we will see what happens. We just have to focus on training," he concluded./Telegraph/
