Amir Rrahmani, feet on the ground after the victory, talks about the problems they had against Iceland

Amir Rrahmani was down to earth for Kosovo's 2-1 victory in the first match against Iceland in the Nations League play-offs.

The Dardanelles captain stated that there is still room for improvement, as they had problems with positioning and applying pressure against the Icelanders.

"There are many players who come and go, but whoever comes (to Kosovo) must find the balance and go for victory," Amiri initially stated.

"We have a lot of quality, but what we need to do is improve our positioning and how to apply pressure."

"We conceded the goal because we were not well positioned and left a lot of space, so until the first goal we had problems positioning ourselves on the field," concluded Rrahmani.

On Sunday (March 23), Kosovo plays the return match against Iceland, valid for promotion to League B. /Telegraph/
