Amidst her battle with cancer, 40-year-old supermodel Bianca Balti shines with her appearances at "Sanremo 2025" sending an encouraging message

Bianca Balti shined at the Sanremo 2025 Music Festival in Italy on Wednesday, as she continues her battle with cancer.
The Italian supermodel, 40, who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer last year, wore four stunning sparkly dresses as she took to the stage at the Teatro Ariston, writes Dailymail.
In a stunning appearance, Bianca made sure to turn heads in a silver halter-neck dress, adorned with pearls and featuring a bold cutout at the chest.
She completed the look with a fluffy scarf draped over one shoulder, bringing a touch of Hollywood glamour to the four-day song festival, where she is co-hosting with Carlo Conti.
Then, she appeared in another elegant outfit, becoming the center of attention with a shiny black dress and a deep neckline.
Bianca let the outfit speak for itself, while for accessories she only wore a silver necklace and long earrings.
In a third glamorous look, she appeared in an elegant sky blue dress, which had belts decorated with shiny stones and a feathered skirt.
A dramatic feathered ponytail trailed behind her as she descended the steps onto the stage, while she completed the look with a pair of sheer black gloves.
For her final outfit, Bianca gave it her all, taking to the stage in a sheer dress with a collar. barbell, completely covered with shiny stones.
She was joined on stage by her stylish co-host, Carlo Conti, as well as the other presenter, Italian singer Cristiano Malgioglio.
Bianca looked happy, smiling and laughing with her colleagues on stage, even asking for a dance with Cristiano.
Her commitment as a presenter comes just weeks after she completed chemotherapy treatment on January 27, in her battle with ovarian cancer.
After losing her aunt to breast cancer, Bianca was informed in 2021 that she carries the BRCA1 gene and underwent a preventive double mastectomy. Mutations in the BRCA1 gene can increase the risk of developing breast cancer.
In addition to discovering that she was a carrier of this gene, Bianca learned that she had a 50 percent chance of being diagnosed with breast cancer and a 30 percent chance of ovarian cancer.
In September 2024, Bianca was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and described it as a "death sentence", but now says she feels "more alive than ever".
She admitted that her journey with cancer "isn't over yet," as she shared an update on her health in a touching Instagram post on World Cancer Day on February 4.
She wrote: "February 4th. World Cancer Day. For me, it's always been an ordinary date that I only remembered from a few posts on Instagram."
"Although my aunt died of metastatic breast cancer at age 39 and my mother was diagnosed with myeloma a few years ago."
"And despite my diagnosis in 2021 as a carrier of the BRCA1 gene, for which, in December 2022, I underwent a preventive double mastectomy."
"Cancer had not taken over my thoughts, let alone my body."
"Until September 8, 2024, the day cancer, more specifically ovarian cancer, entered my life feeling like a death sentence."
"On October 14th, I began my chemotherapy journey, which ended last Monday, January 27th, but, to my great surprise, during these last few months, I felt more alive than ever."
"I was no longer taking life for granted, and my gratitude reached its peak. Everything began to seem like a true blessing."
"It's been difficult and it's not over yet, but I wouldn't have wanted it any other way."
"They say, 'What doesn't kill you makes you stronger,' but my experience is that what didn't kill me made me love life even more," the model said.
In September, Bianca revealed she had been diagnosed with ovarian cancer after being admitted to hospital with severe abdominal pain.
She announced her devastating diagnosis in an Instagram post on September 15, where she admitted it had been a week "full of fear, pain and tears."
The mother-of-two revealed that after being admitted to the emergency room, doctors discovered she had stage 3C ovarian cancer, which meant the disease had spread beyond the pelvis.
However, still smiling in the hospital, she insisted that she was staying positive and was confident that she would "beat" the cancer.
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model said her diagnosis, which has a five-year survival rate of 39 percent, helped her find "beauty through life's challenges."
According to Ovarian Cancer Research AllianceStage 3C ovarian cancer means that the disease is present in one or both fallopian tubes and has spread to organs outside the pelvic area.
Treatment for this aggressive form of cancer includes surgery and chemotherapy. /Telegraph/
