American and Latvian soldiers assigned to the KFOR mission's Regional Command-East recently conducted a joint exercise on day and night cargo operations.
The exercise included training in aerial cargo slinging, a procedure that enables the lifting of vehicles or supplies via ropes attached to rotary-wing helicopters.
This exercise helps maintain the readiness of KFOR troops to intervene effectively in any unexpected situation, the announcement states.
The activity is part of the daily efforts of the KFOR mission to ensure a safe and stable environment in Kosovo, supporting all communities living in the country. /Telegraph/
