Residents of Albanian origin in the Zafer and Namık Kemal neighborhoods in the Osmangazi district organized a massive street iftar, which gathered around 4,500 people – far more than the initial expectations of 3,000 participants.

The giant iftar table, stretching for hundreds of meters, attracted the attention of residents and guests from the city and other areas, and was documented from above by drone.

This annual activity, initiated and organized for the third time by the neighborhood youth, marked a moment of unity and solidarity in the community.

The streets were closed to traffic to allow for the setting up of long tables, where young, old, merchants and students shared the fast and blessings of Ramadan.

The organizers emphasized that the goal of this event is to strengthen ties within the community, preserve Albanian cultural traditions in the diaspora, and recall the values of neighborliness and coexistence.

Similar events have been held years ago, now becoming an important tradition for the Albanian community of Bursa, bringing together different generations to share a special religious and social moment./Telegraph.
