Albanian general: Kosovo – Albania – Croatia military alliance, a clear message for Serbia

After the signing of the Declaration of Military Alliance between Kosovo, Albania and Croatia, retired Albanian general Esad Çollaku emphasized that this is a clear signal to Serbia and other states that may have territorial claims in the Balkans.

"One of these agreements is a clear message to Belgrade, because this agreement sends a clear message to all those who have territorial claims on other neighboring countries, as we know Serbia had started the war in Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Kosovo," he emphasized. RTV Dukagjini.

Çollaku expressed concern about the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, emphasizing that the situation there is deteriorating due to the influence of Lista Srpska, which could have dangerous consequences for the entire Balkans.

Regarding Albania, Çollaku explained that the country's military forces need further growth, adding that Albania needs to invest more in the number and preparation of its military forces.

"Albania needs it extremely much, because it has few military forces left. In addition to increasing the number of its soldiers and units, it must also have a very high level of preparation. Albania is not directly threatened by a danger because it has Kosovo ahead," he emphasized, among other things.

Meanwhile, the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has reacted by considering the agreement on the military alliance signed today in Tirana by the Defense Ministers of Kosovo, Albania and Croatia as a "provocation".

The Serbian Foreign Ministry, through a statement, said that it will send an urgent request to the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Croatia and Albania for detailed clarification regarding the signing of the trilateral memorandum on cooperation with Kosovo in the field of defense.

With this agreement, according to the assessment of the Ministry in Belgrade, both countries (Albania and Croatia) "took steps that undermine regional stability."
Authorities in Belgrade assessed that the initiative "represents an open provocation and a gross disregard for the reality on the ground."

"We expect an urgent response from Zagreb and Tirana on the real aims and ultimate goals of this dangerous military-security game. Serbia will not allow any unilateral action that could jeopardize our territorial integrity, the security of citizens and peace in the region," the statement said. /Telegraph/
