As part of the Week of Austrian and Albanian culture, the concert titled "Classical Music from Albania" was held. The main purpose of this event was to rediscover the cultural commonality of the two countries in the framework of artistic music.
The two Albanian composers presented at this concert night were Valton Beqiri and Gjon Simoni. Both of them were presented with their bow quartets performed by the bow ensemble of the Albanian Radio Television.
It is important to note that the quartets of the world-renowned composer, Dmitry Shostakovich, were also performed at this concert. /Telegraph/
