Albania's Minister of Internal Affairs: The right to protest is inviolable, but violence is unforgivable

Albanian Minister of Internal Affairs Albana Koçiu, through a statement to the media, announced that the right to protest is inviolable, but violence is unforgivable.
According to her, anyone who attacks the uniform of the State Police and attempts to destabilize the constitutional order will face the law beyond any political alibi.
"Statement by the Minister of Interior, Albana Koçiu - The right to protest is inviolable, but violence is unforgivable. Whoever attacks the uniform of the State Police and attempts to destabilize the constitutional order will face the law beyond any political alibi. We stand by every police officer who serves with professionalism and self-restraint even in the face of a violent protest, as well as in defense of the right to protest of every citizen who chooses democracy, not violence," she said.
