Albania provides 700,000 Pfizer vaccines adopted for new variants of COVID-19

The Albanian Minister of Health, Ogerta Manastirliu, declared today after the government meeting that Albania has secured 700,000 doses of Pfizer vaccines adapted for the new variants of Covid-19.

In a communication with journalists, Manastirliu said that there are still cases of infection and a continuous supply of anti-Covid vaccines has been ensured.

"We have an agreement with the Pfizer company to ensure that the first purchased doses, which are about 700,000, will be vaccines adapted for new variants of the coronavirus," said the minister.


Manastirliu also emphasized that the government has decided that with the 2023 budget, it will support women with three or more children, where one of the children is up to the age of 5 and the monthly family income does not exceed ALL 100,000.

"It is a financial support within a stable policy for unemployed mothers who take care of children", said Ogerta Manastirliu. /Telegraph/
