The Minister of Health in Albania, Ogerta Manastirliu, has announced today that the Council of Ministers has approved a new contract with the Pfizer company for 1 million doses of vaccines for 2022.

Manastirliu added that the contract provides for another 500 doses in case of need.

In a post on Facebook of a meeting in Divjaka, Manastirliu stated that the contract also enables the vaccination of children.

"We will continue to ensure the availability of vaccines in all health centers", Manastirliu emphasized.
