For the first time in history, two Balkan prime ministers have conducted communication between themselves and with public opinion in the Albanian language. "Albanians have never been closer and more stable. I am in favor of not changing the borders, but we aim for regional integration. A distinction must be made between national and state identity. We are two separate state identities, but both Albania and Kosovo belong to the same national identity: We are Albanians!" said Prime Minister Thaçi regarding the question of whether Albania and Kosovo would be able to unite one day.

"I think that this final question has been given by the independence of Kosovo. In my convictions, the independence of Kosovo has been and is the most trusted, major project, for which the citizens of Kosovo resisted. It is a masterpiece of Kosovo's resilience and this project is the most respected project in Albania", said the Albanian Prime Minister, Berisha.

The two prime ministers discussed the good climate of relations between the two countries. Berisha, for his part, considered this visit of his Kosovar counterpart important and greeted Prime Minister Thaçi for the developments in the country before and after the declaration of independence. Prime Minister Thaçi, for his part, thanked Albania for its contribution to Kosovo's independence. "...I emphasize that the freedom and independence of Kosovo is directly related to Albania's contribution, I thank you on behalf of Kosovo, the people and the Government", said Thaçi.

The two prime ministers also expressed their desire for cooperation in the field of education, business, security and justice. Thaçi, for his part, assured that Kosovo after the declaration of independence is a state with complete territorial security. In terms of security, Berisha himself said that both countries will do their best for zero tolerance towards organized crime. "We will prove that our tolerance towards organized crime will be zero", said Berisha. /Balkanweb/Telegrafi/
