Albania U-21 will play two friendly matches against Greece on March 21 and Luxembourg on March 25.

The Albanian national team began preparations for these two matches today, as coach Alban Bushi has invited 23 players.
The red and black coach appeared today at a media conference at the "Arena Kombëtare" stadium where he outlined the team's objectives for these two matches, the new players joining the team, the absences and problems that concern the U-21 team.

What do you expect from friendlies? – We will not see the matches as friendly matches, but as qualifiers. The European Championship is in 2027 and we will face very strong teams. To face those top teams like Germany, England, France, you have to give your best with teams that are almost at our level or a little above average. We will see every match as a final and I have made this clear to the boys. Not only the matches, but also every training session should be considered a final in my mentality. As for the group, it is a new group. There are many new players, it is a little difficult at first because they do not even know each other. But these types of long gatherings and matches give you the opportunity to create the best possible atmosphere.

Bushi also spoke about two Kosovo footballers who, according to him, were about to join Albania, but in the end he saw them on the Dardanelles list.

"We had two players who promised me they would come to Albania until the last day and then I saw them on the Kosovo list. There is nothing wrong with that. But they should have been more correct in the communication we had because until the last day they told me they would come and in the end I saw them on the Kosovo list."

"I am not upset because Kosovo should also be supported by Albanians from Albania, as well as from Kosovo and North Macedonia. From the entire diaspora because it is our country and we are happy when good players go there," said Alban Bushi.
