Ali Ahmeti, the leader of the DUI in North Macedonia, today expressed his full support for his compatriots who will protest in Strasbourg, in front of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, for the injustice against former KLA leaders.

Ahmeti, in a post on social media, said that today he is with his compatriots who will protest.

"Today, with my mind and heart, I stand with my compatriots who will protest in Strasbourg, where the great injustice against the KLA and the Albanian people began," he wrote.

Ahmeti criticizes the way the Special Court is functioning, saying that it is judging the slanders of Serbia and Russia.

The DUI leader has demanded the release of Thaçi, Veseli, Krasniqi and Selim.

"This court is not judging what it was founded for, but is judging Serbia's slanders fabricated by Russia. Hashimi, Kadriu, Rexhepi, Jakupi and the others are allies of the US and the EU and their place is in Kosovo. Their innocence was confirmed by our American and European friends in The Hague, therefore, release our sons!" Ahmeti wrote.

He ended with a call for justice.

"Injustice must end immediately, the entire Albanian people are standing up for justice for the sanctity of our liberation war," he said. /Telegraph/
