The Hydrometeorological Institute of Kosovo (IHMK) has published the weather forecast for next week, from January 12 to 16, 2026, warning of the penetration of cold air masses and a significant drop in temperatures throughout the country.
According to the IHMK, after record rainfall that has covered almost all of Kosovo in recent days, the meteorological situation has stabilized in terms of rainfall, but the week will be characterized by cold weather.
Minimum temperatures during the mornings are expected to drop to -12 degrees Celsius, while daily maximums during the afternoon will reach up to 7 degrees Celsius. The wind will blow mainly from the northwest and southeast, light to moderate.
Mornings will be cold and frosty, while fog is expected in some places, which could make road traffic difficult.
The IHMK advises increased caution for traffic participants, due to unfavorable weather conditions, especially during the early morning hours. /Telegraph/
