After the production halt, Lladrovci: Drenas feels the weight of the crisis at "Ferronikel"

The Mayor of Drenas, Ramiz Lladrovci, has expressed his concern and solidarity with the workers of the "Ferronikeli" company, following the management's decision to lay off hundreds of employees as a result of the interruption of production.
In his reaction, Lladrovci emphasizes that the municipality is aware of the difficulties encountered in the "Ferronikeli" industrial complex and the fact that production has been stopped since October 2023, adding that the company was forced to take this step in accordance with the Labor Law, reports Telegraph.
"On behalf of the Municipality of Drenas, I express regret for the situation created and full solidarity with all workers affected by this decision. I hope that market conditions will improve as soon as possible, in order to enable the resumption of production and the reemployment of laid-off workers," Lladrovci declared.
He recalled that "Ferronikeli" has been one of the main contributors to the Kosovo economy over the years, especially in increasing the country's exports, and expressed hope that the industrial giant will regain its vitality.
"We hope that 'Ferronikeli' will return to work as soon as possible and continue to remain a strong pillar of the economic development of Drenas and Kosovo", added Lladrovci. /Telegraph/
