After the indictment in the case of Liridona Ademaj, her brother speaks out

After the indictment was filed by the Basic Prosecution Office in Pristina for the murder of Liridona Ademaj, her brother, Leonard Ademaj, hopes that justice will be served.

He emphasized that this is a difficult day for his family and asked for understanding from public opinion.

In a statement to the media, Leonard Ademaj said that he has not yet had the opportunity to read the indictment and therefore cannot provide more details about its content, reports Telegraph.


He added that, however, it is a difficult period for his family and that they hope that justice will come to their country as soon as possible.

"We haven't read the indictment yet, when we do, we'll see it too. It's a difficult day for us, we ask for your understanding. We hope that justice will be served as soon as possible," said Ademaj.

Otherwise, the Chief Prosecutor of the Basic Prosecution Office in Pristina, Zejnullah Gashi, announced in a press conference that the investigations have been completed and an indictment has been filed against those accused of the murder of Liridona Ademaj.

The accused are Naim Murseli, Kushtrim Kokalla and Granit Plava, and another accused, whose name has not been made public, reports Telegrafi.

"It was a sensitive case, it was staged as a robbery, but thanks to the maximum commitment of investigators and prosecutors, within a short period of time we managed to discover the perpetrators of this criminal act. It was an extremely sensitive case in terms of its complexity, and investigations were conducted in many dimensions, because we secured expertise both inside and outside Kosovo," stated Chief Prosecutor Zejnullah Gashi. /Telegraph/
