After his arrest in Zveçan, the suspect with the initials SR was detained for 48 hours by decision of the Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo.
According to the official announcement, the arrest was carried out by police investigators of the Directorate for the Investigation of Serious Crimes, by order of the Special Prosecution.
SR is suspected of several criminal offenses, including conspiracy to commit unconstitutional activities, endangering persons under international protection, participating in a crowd that commits a criminal offense and hooliganism, as well as assault on an official.
During the investigative actions, a search warrant was also executed at the suspect's residence, during which material evidence was seized that will be used in the criminal procedure.
The Special Prosecution Office has announced that a request for the imposition of pre-trial detention against SR will be submitted to the Basic Court in Pristina within the legal deadline.
Police investigators, in cooperation with the Special Prosecution Office, are continuing to take all necessary investigative actions, in accordance with the legislation in force. /Telegrafi/
