The Kosovo Energy Corporation (KEK Sh.A.) has announced that unit A5 of the Kosovo A Power Plant has successfully returned to operation this morning.
According to KEK, the restoration of unit A5 was carried out after the remediation of leaks reported days earlier, fulfilling all technical and safety conditions for regular operation.
Currently, the Kosovo A Power Plant operates with three active generating units, ensuring stable electricity production for the country.
KEK Sh.A. thanks the technical staff and all employees of the Kosovo A Power Plant for their professional commitment, quick response and tireless work in addressing the situation.
The corporation emphasizes that it remains committed to safe, stable and responsible operations, in service of the public interest and energy security of Kosovo.
