The Chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Lumir Abdixhiku, has once again thanked all the candidates of this party for the commitment and dedication shown during the campaign for the local elections of October 12.
Through a post on social media, Abdixhiku highly praised the dignified behavior of the LDK candidates, calling them "the voice, face and energy of the LDK in every city, neighborhood and village of Kosovo."
"You have stood with dignity, with argument, with culture and with love for the country; as befits the house of democracy," he said.
Abdixhiku also mentioned the victory in the first round of several LDK candidates, including Imri Ahmeti, Ilir Ferati and Ruzhdi Shehu, congratulating them on their success and describing this victory as common to the entire LDK.
"From today on, you are the mayor of everyone without distinction. Behave as such," he emphasized.
For the candidates who have made it to the runoff, Abdixhiku expressed confidence that the race will continue with energy and dedication, while for those who did not manage to win, he gave a message of motivation and perseverance.
"Don't take it as a loss, as the competition is not like that. It is experience, a foundation for future victories," he said.
According to Abdixhiku, LDK has managed to receive over 180 thousand votes for the Municipal Assembly, emerging as the first party at the national level, according to the preliminary results of these elections.
In the end, the LDK leader expressed gratitude for the entire party structure and emphasized that the LDK's journey continues with more confidence and dedication. /Telegrafi/
