The leader of the LDK, Lumir Abdixhiku, has confirmed the return of the former mayor of Suhareka and former minister from the ranks of the AAK, Blerim Kuqi, to the Democratic League of Kosovo.
Abdixhiku, through a post on Facebook, indicated that this day began the unification.
"I visited Suhareka. Amidst the great work of strengthening and reunification, I wished Blerim Kuqi a return to our big family. With Ardian, we are building a winning team for Suhareka in the upcoming local elections. Amidst the great optimism and spirit that is being built, we will give this city a local team and program like never before," Abdixhiku wrote, reports Telegrafi.
He said that, "this day started something even bigger. Unity. The unity of all those who feel they belong to the LDK. To all those who have felt left out and unrepresented, I say come; don't complain, come help."
"I will be in every city to make this union happen. Suhareka started it today. Let's not stop. Blerim, may he be blessed. Ardian, may he lead us on the path ahead," Abdixhiku wrote. /Telegrafi/
