The Food and Veterinary Agency (AVA) has announced that, based on the alert received from the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF), with reference number 2025.9962, the presence of the substance Cereulide has been identified in the Nestlé infant formula (milk) - Nidina Optipro 1 (600g).

According to the announcement, the affected product bears lot number 52860346BB, originates from the Netherlands and was imported by the company Nestlé Nederland BV to the Republic of Kosovo.


The FVA has announced that it has taken immediate measures to block this product from the market, while the destruction process will then begin, in full compliance with the legislation in force.

The Agency emphasizes that it remains committed to continuous monitoring of the market and the food chain, in order to guarantee safe and healthy food to consumers in the Republic of Kosovo.

The FVA calls on citizens, if they possess this product, not to use it and to follow the instructions of the responsible institutions.
