AGK calls for respect for the work of journalists on election day

The Association of Kosovo Journalists - AGK, calls on politicians, senior state and party officials, candidates for prime minister and members of parliament, as well as citizens, to respect the work of journalists and not take actions that may hinder them in carrying out their duties.
Any attempt to intimidate, censor or obstruct journalists while carrying out their professional duties is unacceptable and violates the right of citizens to fair and real-time information.
The AGK also calls on all journalists, cameramen and media teams to carry their work identification IDs, indicating that they are media employees, and, if available, to wear vests with the inscription PRESS.
We encourage you to report any and all potential incidents and maintain constant communication with your editorial offices, as well as with the AGK.
The AGK will be available to its members throughout the election day and will closely monitor the safety of journalists in the field.
Any case of violation of the work of journalists can be reported to: info@agk-ks.org.
Attacks on journalists are attacks on freedom of expression, the right of citizens to be informed, and consequently on the country's democracy.
