Woman wakes up to find 2.5-meter-long python in her chest

An Australian woman had a terrifying encounter in the middle of the night when a 2.5-metre-long python entered her bedroom and wrapped itself around her stomach and chest.
Rachel Bloor initially mistook the snake for her pet dogs, but as soon as she reached out to pet the animal, she felt the reptile's smooth, moving body.
"Honey, don't move. There's a python about two and a half meters above you," Bloor's husband told her, according to a BBC report.
Despite being scared, Bloor's first thought was to get her two dogs as far away from the situation as possible, as they might have tried to attack the python.
"I thought if my dog realizes there's a snake there... there's going to be a massacre," she said.

With the animals out of the way, Bloor's husband advised her to crawl out from under the covers without alarming the snake.
"I was trying to rush out from under the blanket... in my mind, thinking, is this really happening, it's so strange," Bloor said.
After getting out of bed, she began to tease the python.
"It was so big that even though it was wrapped around me, part of its tail was still out. I grabbed it and it didn't seem too scared. It just wobbled in my hand," Bloor said. /Telegraph/
