A two-year-old child in Macedonia dies after being hit in the head by a piece of metal on New Year's Eve.

The two-year-old child, who was brought to the Neurosurgery Clinic on New Year's Eve with an unknown metal fragment embedded in his head, died two hours after midnight.
This information was confirmed to "Sloboden Peçat" by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, reports Telegraph Macedonia.
The child's life was in danger from the moment he was admitted and treated at the Neurosurgery Clinic.
The Basic Public Prosecutor's Office has also confirmed the death of the two-year-old child.
"Regarding the two-year-old child who passed away, the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Skopje has issued an order for an autopsy of the body," the Prosecution says.
The child was initially taken to the "St. Naum of Ohrid" Clinic, but due to the severity of his injuries, he was urgently transferred to pediatric surgery.
