All iOS and Android users should be alert to a new scam that the FBI says is moving from state to state.

Those who are scammed receive a text message on their phones warning them that they are owed money for unpaid tolls.

While the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has issued the warning that further explains how the scam works.

First, you will receive a message supposedly from a payment agency saying that you owe for unpaid fees and must pay it immediately.

It will take you to a page that will allow you to enter your bank account or credit card information.

If you click to pay, the scammer may end up with other personal information like your driver's license number.

And so they can not only steal your money, but they can also steal your identity.
