The municipalities of the Pelagonija and Southwest regions officially formed the Intermunicipal Waste Management Board today in Skopje, creating a joint structure for coordinated management according to European standards.
This mechanism will approve regional plans, coordinate investments and activities for the closure of existing landfills, ensuring transparency, efficiency and better quality services for citizens, with the support of Sweden and Switzerland.
"We are at an advanced stage with the project at the Ministry. We are already implementing the second phase. In a short time, all municipalities will gradually start receiving the machines that you have requested and that are necessary for operation. The next step that you need to take, and I would ask you to do this as soon as possible, is to form the regional enterprise, to stay as close as possible to the Novaci Municipality", said Ane Llashkoska.
