By order of the Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo, a person identified with the initials EL has been detained for 48 hours on suspicion of the criminal offense of "Assisting in Bribery".
The Special Prosecution Office, in cooperation with the Kosovo Police, is undertaking all investigative actions in accordance with the Criminal Procedure Code, applicable laws and international practices.
In a statement to the media, the Prosecution reaffirmed its commitment to the fight against corruption:
"The Special Prosecution reaffirms its commitment to the fight against corruption," the announcement states.
Investigations into EL continue, while authorities have not provided additional details about the suspect's identity or the circumstances of the incident. /Telegraph/
