A person is suspected of committing suicide inside the police station in Suhareka in the early hours of this morning.
The case was confirmed to the Telegraph by the Chief Prosecutor of Prizren, Petrit Kryeziu.
According to him, he was being held in detention on suspicion of having abused his daughter.
"Around 03:40, a person is suspected of committing suicide in the detention rooms at the police station in Suhareka. The same person was detained on suspicion of having committed domestic violence against his daughter," said Kryeziu.
He further said that the person was known to the prosecution authorities for various criminal offenses, but also for domestic violence.
"The case is being investigated as a death investigation. The same is known to law enforcement agencies and the type of criminal offense for which he was suspected and others," said Kryeziu. /Telegrafi/
