They held a citizen from Kosovo hostage and raped him, with the aim of obtaining 70 thousand euros, three people were arrested in flagrante delicto.
According to a media release, suspected narcotics, Cannabis Sativa, and a radio transceiver similar to those of the Police were seized.
It is further stated that the Serious Crimes Investigation Sector at the Vlora Police Department and the Section for Operational Support of Investigation at the Vlora Police Department, after receiving information from family members that a member of their family was being held hostage in an apartment in the city of Vlora, immediately organized the work to locate the apartment, capture the perpetrators and release the citizen held hostage.
"As a result of quick and professional actions, within the framework of the police operation codenamed 'Hostage', it became possible to capture in flagrante delicto the following citizens: JZ, 25 years old, O. Ç., 18 years old and VA, 35 years old, all three residents of Vlora."
The announcement also states that the investigations have revealed that these citizens, in an apartment on "Janaq Kilica" street, "Osman Haxhiu" neighborhood, had kidnapped and held hostage since 28.11.2025 citizen FX, 39 years old, resident of Mitrovica, Kosovo, physically raping him and demanding the sum of 70,000 euros for his release.
"During the police operation, the immediate release of the hostage was possible, who also received the necessary medical care. During the search of the apartment, in the possession of citizen JZ, a quantity of suspected narcotic substance of the Cannabis Sativa type was found and seized, as well as a radio transceiver similar to those of the Police."
The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Vlora, for the criminal offenses of "Kidnapping or holding a person hostage", committed in collaboration,
