A minor girl was attacked by peers in Karposh

Police in Skopje have recorded another case of violence against minors.
The victim is a girl who was physically attacked by two peers at a playground in Karposh, and the entire incident was filmed and shared on social media. The complaint was filed with the police by the father of the attacked girl.
"DM, 39, from the village of Bardovcë, Skopje, has reported that on 09.10.2025, at around 13:00, in a playground in the Karposh area of Skopje, his minor daughter was physically attacked by two minors. The event was filmed on a phone and distributed on social networks. After the case is fully documented, there will be a corresponding report," the Ministry of Interior said.
This is another case in a series of cases of violence among minors in the country, which have been filmed and then distributed. The latest case was the attack on a year-old girl by three peers in Çair. Fatmire Ajdari, from “Megjashi” says that cyber violence has recently been very present among young people, while the distribution of videos on the internet constitutes the darkest form of violence.
"Physical violence is what we see or have already escalated, while cyber violence, social exclusion and other types of violence are on the rise and while previously we had limited scope for action, as long as they had physical contact, now cyber violence is quite dangerous because it is continuous 24 hours a day and spreads and it is not just the school or neighborhood that knows about it, so it is difficult for victims in such cases to face this if they do not seek help," said Fatmire Ajdarit - Peacekeeping Worker at "Megjashi".
According to Ajdari, help is necessary and victims need to be treated to overcome the psychological consequences and possible social isolation that comes after distributing violent materials on social networks./Alsat.mk
