A serious incident occurred this evening in Gjakova, where a minor girl was injured by an accidental bullet during a shooting incident.
The girl, who was a bystander, was hit in the back and suffered injuries.
The Police Spokesperson for the Gjakova Region, Sheremet Elezaj, stated that the incident occurred at around 21:25 PM, on "Bardhyl Qaushi" street.
He announced that an adult male is suspected of having fired a gun at several individuals with whom he had had a dispute.
"As a result of the shooting, the girl was injured and was sent for medical treatment. According to medical personnel, her condition is stable," Elezaj stated.
The police have arrived at the scene and have launched intensive investigations to fully unravel the case, while work is underway to identify and arrest the suspect, as well as to seize the weapon used.
