A man was set on fire in Times Square in New York City in a horrific attack early Sunday that left him with burns all over his face and arms, and police are still searching for the attacker.

According to foreign media, Telegrafi reports, footage from the scene shows the moments immediately after the attack on the 45-year-old.

The victim is in pain and burns after authorities placed him inside an ambulance after extinguishing the fire.

According to cops, the NYPD responded to reports of a man on fire at W. 41st and Seventh Ave. just before 4 a.m. Sunday.

Authorities believe he was set on fire, but did not immediately have a name for the perpetrator.

A Brooklyn woman who works at a nearby restaurant told The Post that the area gets “very scary” early in the morning — and there aren’t many police around to help.

The NYPD could not say whether the attack was targeted or random. /Telegraph/
