A courier risks losing his job after the app failed to recognize him without a beard

A Just Eat courier has been "banned" from the platform after the app failed to recognize him without a beard.
Adam Stockley, 35, from London, says the identity verification system failed to identify him because he had shaved his beard, compared to his passport photo which shows him with a beard.
He claims that the automated checks have been "ruthless" and that he suspects that a human has reviewed his case.
Just Eat has said it is urgently investigating the situation and that its technology needs to adapt to changes in hair or beard.
According to Adam, the company has increased identity checks to combat illegal workers, requiring verification every time he logs into the app or during his shift.
He says the app failed to recognize him after shaving his beard, leading to multiple deactivations of his account. /Telegraph/
