A male child born in 2013 was sent for medical assistance this evening to the Emergency Service of the "Dr. Sami Haxhibeqiri" General Hospital in Mitrovica, as a result of being hit by a vehicle.

According to the hospital's announcement, the child was presented at around 19:55 PM, where he immediately received emergency treatment and examination from the medical team, including resuscitation measures.


In collaboration with the Radiology Service, a Computed Tomography (CT) scan was performed, as well as the necessary laboratory tests. The case was also consulted with the attending orthopedic physician.

Doctors have announced that the child is out of danger, while due to the nature of the injuries, he has been referred to the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (UCCK) for further consultation with Neurosurgery and Maxillofacial Surgery specialists.

According to the hospital, the injuries are mainly in the face and sinus area, but the child's condition is stable and out of danger. /Telegraph/
