A Bulgarian citizen was arrested at the Deve Bair border crossing for possession of a metal skeleton and a banner with offensive content.
According to information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, yesterday at around 13:30 p.m., upon entering the country, police officers deprived NIL (47) from the Republic of Bulgaria of his liberty.

"During the border control and detailed inspection of a "Honda Jazz" passenger vehicle with Bulgarian license plates, carried out in cooperation with customs officers, a metal skeleton and a banner with offensive content were found and confiscated."


"Following the measures taken, the Basic Court in Kriva Palanka imposed a fine and a protective measure of "expulsion of the foreigner from the country" for a period of one year. On January 13, 2026, at 02:10 in the morning, the person was taken to the Deve Bair border crossing point and handed over to the Bulgarian border police services," the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
