A serious incident occurred on Tuesday evening in the village of Bajnicë, Kaçanik, where a 59-year-old man lost his life after falling into a well located in the yard of the village school.
The case was confirmed to Telegraf by the Police spokesperson for the Ferizaj region, Kanun Veseli.
He announced that the case was reported in the evening hours, while police units, fire teams and emergency services immediately arrived at the scene.
According to Veseli, at around 22:30 PM, after the engagement of firefighting teams and volunteers, the victim's body was removed from the well and the attending physician determined that the 59-year-old was without signs of life.
"The state prosecutor has been notified of all police actions and, by his decision, the victim's body has been sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for an autopsy. The case has been classified as a suspicious death," Veseli declared.
Authorities are continuing investigations to clarify the full circumstances of this tragic event. /Telegraph/
