Kosovo Police in Prizren have arrested R.GJ., a 38-year-old male from Doblibar, Gjakova, on suspicion of committing aggravated theft on October 31, 2025.
The suspect's arrest came after police raids in Doblibare - Gjakova and "William Walker" street in Prizren, KosovaPress reports.
R.GJ. is suspected of stealing gold jewelry worth 15.000 euros, about 3.000 euros, 7-8 women's handbags worth about 3.000 euros from an apartment. The total value of the declared damage is about 21.000 euros.
The same person was accompanied to the offices of the Regional Investigation Sector - DRP Prizren, where he was interviewed in the presence of his defense attorney.
During the interview, after being confronted with evidence, the suspect admitted to committing the criminal offense of aggravated theft and was detained for 48 hours by decision of the Prosecutor of the case.
Investigations are ongoing and efforts are being made to secure additional evidence.
