On 06.12.2025, at around 10:20, at SPB Skopje, an 82-year-old woman from Skopje reported that she had been defrauded by a person for an amount of approximately 170.000 denars.
According to the complaint, the person had contacted her by phone, introducing himself as a police officer, and had told the victim that her niece had caused a traffic accident in which a child had died and that she had to pay to avoid going to jail.
She reportedly went out into the street and handed the money to a male person, but later realized that her niece had not been involved in any traffic accident, meaning she had been deceived. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
