72 meters of cable stolen from the Skopje-Gevgelija railway

Unknown thieves yesterday cut and took 72 meters of copper cable from the Skopje-Gevgelija railway near the village of Mërzenci, endangering railway traffic, the Ministry of Interior announced.
"Yesterday at 16:10, the Gevgelija Police Station received a report that between 13:30 and 14:30, an unknown perpetrator cut and took two copper cables, 60 and 12 meters long, from a railway bridge on the Mrzenska River, in the place called "Avlac", where railway traffic is carried out. Measures are being taken to clarify the case," the police announced.
