At the Government of the Republic of Kosovo building, the acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti and the acting Deputy Prime Minister, Emilia Rexhepi, welcomed today a high-ranking delegation of the Chamber of Commerce of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, led by President Mirsad Jašarspahić and consisting of 40 of the most prominent Bosnian companies.
At the opening of the meeting, Kurti stressed the importance of this visit, describing it as a symbol of commitment to strengthening economic cooperation and promoting shared prosperity between the two countries. He praised the crucial role of the business community in increasing trade exchanges and creating new investment opportunities.
After the official reception, the First Economic Forum of Bosnian and Kosovo Businesses took place, with an emphasis on B2B (business-to-business) meetings. The Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade of Kosovo, Rozeta Hajdari and her team, as well as the Minister of Economy of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, Samir Šibonjić, actively participated in these meetings.
According to Deputy Prime Minister Rexhepi, the great interest of Kosovar businessmen in cooperating with Bosnian companies testifies to the extraordinary potential of joint investments and the opening of new markets in both countries.
During the afternoon, the delegation visited the historic city of Prizren, while the evening was spent in fruitful discussions with Bosnian businessmen living and operating in Kosovo, with a focus on opening representative offices, factories and production units.
"I insisted that the largest number of our people be actively involved in these new investment flows, because the economic strengthening of the community should be our common goal," emphasized Rexhepi.
She also announced that a visit by a delegation of Kosovar businessmen to Bosnia and Herzegovina will soon take place, thus marking another concrete step in building a new era of strong and friendly economic cooperation between the two countries. /Telegrafi/
