The Central Election Commission (CEC) has updated the results of diaspora votes received by mail after midnight.
The CEC has announced that so far 67 out of a total of 188 ballot boxes (35.64%) have been counted.
According to the results so far, the Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV) leads with 52.14% of the votes, followed by the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) with 28.40%.
Ranking of parties:
VV – 10,744 votes (52.14%)
LDKs – 5,853 votes (28.40%)
PDK – 1,637 votes (7.94%)
AAK-INITIATIVE – 980 votes (4.76%)
After the completion of the counting of votes from the diaspora and diplomatic missions, the CEC will begin counting conditional votes and those of persons with special needs.
Overall, the number of Kosovo citizens registered to vote outside Kosovo was 104, of whom 924 were registered to vote at diplomatic missions and 20 voted, while around 324 citizens were registered to vote by mail.
Based on CEC data, the number of envelopes with ballots from conditional polling stations is 12, which will also be subject to verification, which includes comparison with the list of voters signed at regular polling stations.
