21-year-old beats his mother in Zubin Potok, sent to detention
A 21-year-old man with the initials SM has been arrested after attacking his mother.
According to the Police report, the incident occurred on Thursday afternoon around 18:00 PM in the village of Jegenicë, Zubin Potok.
"On 17.04.2025, at around 18:00, the Police received information about a case of domestic violence in the village of Jagenica, Zubin Potok. Immediately after the report, the police went to the scene, where they arrested the suspect, SM, 21 years old, after he had attacked his mother," the announcement states.
Meanwhile, as reported, the victim was sent for medical treatment to the Main Family Medicine Center in Zubin Potok and was released after treatment.
"Regarding the case, regional domestic violence investigation units have been involved, which have contacted the State Prosecutor. After consulting with the prosecutor, the case was initiated as a criminal offense of 'Light bodily injury'," the announcement states.
Meanwhile, as stated in the prosecutor's decision announcement, the suspect has been detained for 48 hours. /Telegraph/
