20 cases of Flurona are confirmed in Albania, the overlap of Covid-19 and flu has required hospital treatment

At least 20 patients have been confirmed with Flurona in Albania during the circulation of the Omicron variant of the coronavirus and the seasonal flu.

The impact of Covid-19 and the flu at the same time has been verified by the Institute of Public Health after the analyzes carried out.

The director of ISHP, Eugena Tomini, told A2 CNN that those affected by Flurona requested hospital treatment due to the aggravation of their health due to the overlapping of the two diseases.

Although the Omicron wave is on the wane, Tomini adds that this variant continues to circulate, as do Delta and respiratory viruses.
