16 years with Telegraph!

The 16th anniversary was a challenging year for the Telegraph, from managing the COVID-19 pandemic, economic recovery, domestic political issues, the war in Ukraine and its impact around the world, to the hardest hit for the newsroom - the early departure from this world. of colleague Arlind Gjikolli-Gjikla.
The death of the managing director of Telegraf and the artist Arlind Gjikolli - Gjikla is the most serious loss, not only for his family, but also for our media house since its foundation. In the last ten years, Gjikla was the COO (Managing Director) of Telegraf, he was the man who contributed a lot to the development and growth of the portal.
Although Gjikla's early departure cannot be compensated for, the contribution he made remains an inspiration for professional work and innovation in the media market in Kosovo and the region.
The 16th anniversary found us with many challenges, but also developments at the same time. The war in Ukraine and the Russian aggression in this country brought many unknowns, which are still relevant today, so the colleagues of the world column have more devotedly covered these developments that brought anxiety and uncertainty for peace around the globe. Russian aggression in Ukraine was covered by over 6000 articles published in the special column on the crisis in Ukraine and its consequences around the world.
In domestic politics, the issues related to the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue and the final agreement between the two states were and are undoubtedly challenging.
The barricades in the northern part, the liberalization of visas, vetting in justice and other developments were the top priorities that brought readers and public interest in Kosovo, Albania, North Macedonia, the Presheva Valley, Montenegro and the diaspora, and which were covered with dedication and professionalism from Telegraph journalists.
A big event, which has just ended and was covered with a special column, brought by the colleagues of the sports editorial office and other departments was the World Football Championship "Qatar 2022". Over 1000 special articles, the "Expert" column, the special design, this event was conveyed with high interest and readership throughout the duration of the World Cup.
During this year, Telegrafi, as a credible, professional and innovative media, has also taken care of its customers and colleagues.
On the 16th anniversary we already launched the newest platform Telegrafi Real Estate, which is a bridge between our readers in all Albanian territories and diaspora, with our partners from real estate agencies and builders.

During 2022, the trend of increasing readership was another characteristic across all our channels, bringing innovation and excitement to the reader in all sections, from top local news, world, economy, sports, culture and magazine.
Compared to the last two years, Telegrafi this year has seen an increase in readership on social media platforms and channels.
The number of people who have installed the Telegrafi application has also increased. Over 100,000 people already have the Telegraph on their smartphones, while engagement with our content across social networks has increased.
Even Telegraf's cameramen, Korab Basha and Burim Mjeku, were declared the best of the year by the Association of Journalists of Kosovo with the story - 'Being invisible to the enemy - members of the KSF during camouflage exercises in the barracks "NATO soldiers- s" in Istog.
They dedicated this award to the managing director of Telegraf and the artist Arlind Gjikolli - Gjikla.
In 2023, the first online media in Kosovo, Telegrafi will come with a new brand for the first time, with a new design, with a new application and many other details that will be a surprise for the reader and the media market in Kosovo and region.
During 2023, Telegrafi will bring other collaborations with media partners, but also with local and international organizations for professional and credible journalism.
